Okay there you guys go, enjoy the update, everything seems to be in working order, I'm unsure why you some of u are having issues with the soft-reset in sakura, I've not encountered it myself, the only thing i could suggest is back up your files and reformat your card then place the triple-loader back on......................well enjoy all

how would I change it so that the m3 real firmware boots by default
to just switch the X and default

just by renaming them (switching names with each other?)

no, simple renaming the defaultx.nds into boot.eng won't do
the loader is more complicated.
afa i understood, the whole loading is based on the Sakura platform, so
you apparently need the 'other' loader =)

In the game list instead of double clicking the game or putting the stylus on and moving it to the right - put your stylus on the game and move it to the left and the game options list will appear, set and press the disc icon to save

Okay, so can this be done? Or is one's only option to install M3Real firmware and have a Sakura.nds file from within to boot Sakura (such as like Moonshell is run on other carts)?

I tried this but it just started the game,
no options came up...

In sakura

slide left to right starts game

slide right to left enters game options

you cannot boot M3 REAL BY DEFAULT and still retain the TRIPLE LOADER with the options of holding buttons to load another OS!

reason ... its a SAKURA feature the autobooting of an nds file by holding a button .... not M3 REAL nor ITOUCH

In addition to that, you can't slide left for options from the "Recent Files" menu. Press X for game options there.

Bfos, yes you can access game options from recent files by touch, i think this is unchanged from 1.11x:

touch a game, hold the touch on it untill the sphere goes full circle and take stulys up, the options should boot up.

This feature was one of my random findings...

Ah, nice. But that's not quite how it works. Hold the stylus on the game until the sphere goes full circle, then simply let go and it will go to options. Thanks for the tip.
