Last time I checked, 32 MB was the BIGGEST a rom size could be without having issues loading. no commercial rom is bigger.

EDIT: OH wait that's exactly what you said.

And the Mini SD and SD versions have no software difference, just the memory card is different. I guess for convenience sake the SD is better, but the Mini SD one is more sleek.

I wish the M3 team didn't suck now. they used to make some great carts.

Heh, yeah. They DID support their cards for awhile though. They even released a final firmware for the perfects in ('08?) that let them use SDHC...but only for music, pics and video, not NDS or GBA. And I think even THAT only worked in DS mode.

But hey, at least kotaku still likes their slot 1 cards

I checked the interwebz but couldn't find the firmware manager, or any of the software for the M3 Perfect. If you have any of them and could upload them to Filetrip I would greatly appreciate it. =)

Oh, really? I had no problem getting to it!

M3 Wiki is your friend for anything M3 perfect. Your VEERRRRY good friend.

http://m3wiki.com/index.php/Main_Page

here's the latest M3 game manager: http://www.linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/dl.php/GM_v36a.zip

Newest English FW:

CF VER: http://www.linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/dl...pdategc.e35.rar

SD VER: http://www.linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/dl...pdagcsd.e35.rar

Newer Chinese FW (has SDHC support for pics, vids music, I think):

CF VER: http://www.linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/dl...pdategc.b36.zip

SD VER: http://www.linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/dl...pdagcsd.b36.zip

CF is for CF, SD is for SD/Mini/Micro. INSTALLING THE WRONG ONE WILL BRICK YOUR M3.

Oh god... I will make sure to install the right one then.

Is there one for the M3 Lite (for DS Lite) also? or does that have the same as the SD version?

Rule of thumb stands, if your lite takes any type of SD, use the SD FW. If it takes any type of CF, use the CF one.

Might wanna browse M3wiki to confirm this though.

Is that even possible without replacing the microSD reader on the cart?
