i found a patcher for older versions to change between r4 & m3 but it wont work on this one for some reason so i was just wondering if someone would try since most of the people on gbatemp have R4s anyway

Either way, the thing you linked is for the M3 Simply, not REAL, they are totally different cards.

This M3 Real firmware update not a M3 Simply, the m3 simple and r4 are almust identical but a m3real and a r4 not.

Theres a better chance they will fix nervous brickdown then that. the only M3 firmware you might possibly get to work on an r4 is the m3 simply firmware since the simply is basicly a rebranded r4 with a few internal changes There'd be no logical reason to do so though since M3 dropped support for the simply awhile ago

M3 Real firmware would never fully work on m3 Simply/r4 if it would they never would have used other hardware for m3 Real

Dragon Quest and Chrono trigger work.

GTA, were waiting on an update for m3 real. Updates happen subfrequently. Dunno about wii connectivity though.

I've asked about wii connectivity a couple of times in the past, I wouldn't hold your breathe on it but with pokemon platinum coming out who knows, we might see it added, after all the G6 has it.

This update was released before GTA was dumped, so no to GTA, someone said M3 team are working on a specific GTA update by the end of this weekend, take it as you want personally i'm not holding my breathe. Then again the GTA issue isn't copy protection its save format.

so it's not a bad idea to buy it? with rumble and ram expansion pack included for about 47€ it doesn't seem expensive to me .... but it won't work on DSi i guess (and even if it did the expansion packs wouldn't, of course)
