Ok I got a M3 DS Simply *English* recently and got a brand new DS Lite Onyx. I copied the appropriate files on the main area of the MicroSD Card. I have a 1 GB & and 2 GB Kingston MicroSD Card. I've formated it to FAT and FAT32.

Do I need to get any other accessories to make it work?
Is my MicroSD card no compatible?
Is my M3 DS Simply defective?

I'm hoping for the last one that way I don't have to spend more money.

what problem are you having

you dont need anything else your m3 simply should work.

I tried cleaning the contacts with rubbing alcohol and a game I borrowed from my friend worked, but I did blow in the ds also.

Is there a certain program or something I have to run on my sd card?
Can I just drop and drag files on it?
Do I need to put them in another folder first or something?

I dont have an m3 so im not 100 % sure, However your card should still show up in the ds menu even if you dont have the right files on your micro sd card i think. My guess would be your m3 is defective :'(

My DS Lite won't recognize my M3. It says there is no DS Game in the slot?

I had the same problem with my M3 DS Simply. I had it for maybe 5 months and it started crapping out on me, doing exactly what you described (unable to detect the M3). Luckily I was still under warranty with realhotstuff.com and they sent me a new one right away.

I'm guessing your M3 just might be defective like mine (eventually) was.

This has nothing to do with the microSD card. The cart is not making contact with the DS. If cleaning the contacts doesn't help, and standard DS games work, it's most likely a defective flascart.

The DS-X had a simliar issue which was solved by placing a piece of paper folder up a few times and placed behind the cart to make it "thicker". Maybe do a search in the ds-x section here and there should be some info on it. May have to look on the actual ds-x forums...

That is not a real solution and can potentially damage your DS. I've already seen one report of someone using that trick and eventually their DS was unable to read any games at all. It is best to get the unit replaced and if the DS-X was having that issue then they should of found a proper way to resolve it.

P.S. - This was one reason why I did not get a DS-X. That and the fact that when doing firmware updates it either didn't take the update (infamous error -1 from updater) or it bricked the card.
