rumble ram isnt worth much
see if you can trade for a gba expansion pak instead
they pretty much worth the exact same value

maybe someone who bought the m3 gba exp cart but didnt have a m3 real might want to trade

DOH, didn't see the banner, or your username XD. My bad!

The EZ Flash 3 in 1 should trade evenly for an M3 GBA Expansion, but not for an M3 Rumble RAM Expansion (that thing is just rumble and ram, pretty useless imo). O well, patching Opera isn't that much of a hassle

DOH! I just realized the rumble RAM pack doesn't have GBA support.

Right, well maybe I will be on the lookout for a GBA Expansion pack. Looking around in the trading forum would be good.

Oh, and PV, I just lost in the Space Invaders Extreme tournament to ZzzZilla. Stupid mistake, I explained it a little over at DS Database. Rig the raffle for me?

Just kidding.

Let me know what the next tournament is, and if it's good I might be there.

I just recently purchased an M3DS Real myself... As an upgrade from a failing EZflash V (it stopped loading about half my roms and the 3-in-1 went bad). I have to say, I've never been happier. With the Sakura firmware, it's fast and just plain works.

Woohoo, I am now part of the M3 Fan club ,lol! Recieved it in the mail a few minutes ago but I already installed the firmware and putting homebrew and stuff on it. I did run into a brick wall though...
GBA Games...
I grabbed the Cheat database folder (and there's a TON of files),
Where do I put that?
Please don't tell me I have to patch it into the game itself
frown.gif
...
If so, what program would I need?

P.S. Also, is there anyway to have game saves go into another folder?
If not, that's ok, just wondering because my NDS folder is not only filled with games but with save files and other files... looks like a total mess...

for gba cheats just use the file you need
the 4 digit code for the gba game will tell you which cheat file goes with it
if you dont know the 4 numbers for the game, this will help http://gbatemp.net/newgon/?dat=gba

currently there is no way to save to another folder besides the one that your roms are in
you can make it more neat while your are exploring in on your computer by sorting by file type
this will group all similar file extensions together

Cool, thanks for the link!
So...
Where do I put the Cheat files again?
Kidding...
If I understand you correctly, I think you mean that the cheats go in the same folder with the GBA files.
Yes...no...

You know what's weird... I haven't been able to load a single GBA game on Touchpod for some reason...
Sakura loads them just fine though and let's me configure my settings...

you can place the cheats anywhere, doesnt matter
I just made a separate folder for my cheat on the root dir

for touchpad problem
did you make sure to put the gba roms in a folder called "GBA" and place it in the root dir?

Thanks for the tip on the cheats

!
I do have a Folder named "GBA" in the root...
Strange thing is that Sakura runs them fine with no problems (with the exception of not being able to switch screens),
Touchpod just won't run them.
Maybe my roms have to be named a certain way or maybe they are bad dumps and I have to redownload them (but Sakura runs them fine

)
I did Grabbed the newest firmware...

P.S Thanks Joe88 for taking time to help me out... skyline969, can you shed some light?
Would like to add that I'm using a 2GB micorsd... could it be too slow for Touchpod?

There is no special way of naming GBA games so that they would work, and if they work on Sakura, they aren't bad dumps, that's for sure!
This is kinda weird, but hey, just keep on using Sakura

2GB microSD shouldn't be too slow, and besides, speed of microSD doesn't have anything to do with GBA games, as you actually flash your GBA expansion slot 2 cart when booting GBA game, and microSD is then out of use!

I got my 8GB microdSDHC today and loaded everything on it (after formatting) and for some odd reason (good thing), my GBA games now load on both version of the firmware! This can only mean It was my blunder over one of these things...

A) I didn't format the first time (with 2GB microsd)
B) Took the Sakura Firmware directly from the rar file (didn't uncompress) and put on my card
C) Tooo many GBA games in the GBA folder...

I did format my 8GB MicroSDHC once I got it but didn't do that when I had my 2GB MicroSD...
This time I redownloaded the firmware and uncompressed the file and THEN placed on my 8GB MicroSDHC (didn't do this with my 2GB MicroSD)...
I had about 146 GBA games loaded up on my 2GB MicroSD and I think I read somewhere on this forum that it can only read 130 (I think, I'll look it up again)...

It could have been that I had a fake MicroSD as well which might be understandable. The 2GB MicroSD was a Sandisk but that's all it had written on it besides Sandisk 2GB and MicroSD (no maker, item #... nothing). My 8GB MicroSDHC I received today is a Kingston and it says a TON of things on it; Kingston, MicroSDHC, where it's made (Japan), Class (4), item #, and size (8GB). Also, on the 2GB MicroSD, my GBA roms were showing up as 0MB in the browser when it came to size, the 8GB MicroSDHC is showing all kinds of sizes (nothing with a 0MB).

EDIT: What are the button combination's for GBA's Real Time Save?

the 0MB display was how touchpad was built
I believe it cant properly display the size of anything that is below 4MB in size
however the rom would run fine
