Homebrew Luma3DS v9.1 Configuration Help

Hello! I can't ask in the ask forum so I'm asking here, I think this error is unique I can't find it anywhere, or I'm bad at describing it.

My 3DS XL has Luma3DS v9.1 Configuration menu when I hold power and select at the same time, yet when I launch my console normally, there is no Homebrew software, and my SD card has nothing in it anymore. My 3DS was updated to the latest version by my sibling who I let play on my 3DS and no software is to be found. I was wondering how I could update the Luma3DS software to the current version and have Homebrew applications on my 3DS again.

replace boot.firm and boot.3dsx (homebrew launcher) on the system. use rosalina to enable homebrew launcher in place of download play.
