You could try Crystal Chronicles but it's nothing special. Suikoden Tierkreis is kinda boring and Soma Bringer is fun but gets too repetitive.

sorry but Tales of Innocence (and probably hearts in the future)
takes the cake for me.
I get easily bored playing rpgs for long periods of time, but tales kept me glued on the sit for 2 days (yea I go to the toilet

)
The story and the characters are just that awesome! the world is becoming and not bland.
TWEWY and SMT comes after.

Note two of those are remakes but iv completed all 5 and think they are the best of the crop. Also people putting tales of innocence in the top 5 is un-just. yes its a great game but its been out in english for like what? a week? i just think unless you have genuinely completed it already from start to finish and loved the storyline then you cant put it in top 5 yet.

Man I'm surprised how hard it was to come up with five I was happy with, despite the number of rpgs I've played. Obviously chrono trigger would be there but I haven't played the DS version so I think I can't really put it down. I enjoyed Etrian Odyssey games but couldn't bring myself to finish either of them, same goes for DQ games. Suikoden Tierkreis, Nostalgia, Sands of Destruction all showed promise but got boring so damn quickly. Though I would put Might and Magic clash of heroes, Atelier Annie Alchemist of Sera Island or a Castlevania game in the #5 spot but I don't really regard them as pure rpgs.
