Hacking Looking for some help

Okay friends, new guy here; and I know 0 about putting a CFW on your Nintendo 3DS. I have been doing research on here all morning, and some things just aren't clicking. So hopefully nobody gets upset with me making this thread, but I have a few questions that i'm hoping you guys can help me with.

So basically, my main objective is to play Pokemon Sun and Moon (Go figure). At the moment I have 2 Original Nintendo 3DS. The blue, and the purple; now here's my predicament. I have updated my blue to Ver. 11.2.0-35U. Now my purple one hasn't been touched in quite some time, and that version is Ver. 9.4.0-21U. Now I haven't the slightest idea on where my starting point should even be, doing all this research and seeing that you need to follow the instructions to a T to ensure you don't brick your own console is what made me make this thread.

I can follow instructions pretty well, I just need the direction I should go in to reach my main objective. Any other games don't mean much, as long as I can play Pokemon Sun and Moon; and whatever cartridge games I still have. Plus online. I'm not entirely sure if this is possible, but i'm assuming so. I would appreciate any help, and basically just point me in the right direction so that I can get this show on the road. Thank you for viewing the thread, and any input that you may have.

2 Original Nintendo 3DS
Blue-Ver. 11.2.0-35U
Purple-Ver.9.4.0-21U

Main Objective: Play Pokemon Sun and Moon, and cartridge games. Online included.

Work on your purple 3ds first.
Once you set up purple 3ds, you can set up your blue 3ds

Ah, my mistake. Thank you for directing me to where I need to be asking these questions. I appreciate it. Now what exactly do you mean by when I set up my purple 3Ds I can setup my blue one? I'm sorry if I should just close this thread say the word, and i'll PM you or something if you're willing to tell me. I'm just completely lost lol.

1) read the guide, it should explain everything first
2) normally,being on latest firmware, 11.2 means you are screwed. but with 2 3ds, 1 being with cfw (purple once set up), you can downgrade the blue to 9.2

read the guide first then ask question in said topic.
