Hardware Looking for a component cable extension...

Can't I just use normal RCA extension cables for component connections, just as long as each cord corresponds to its respective input/output?

Because in the past with composite, I could interchange Red, White, and yellow and still have everything work.

The reason I'm asking and not trying myself is I dont have any RCA/component cables and need to buy some.

Should work, just remember you need either cords that are male on one end, female on the other, or adapters to convert the male ends of the PSP cable into female connectors so you can connect them to standard cables with male connectors on both ends.
