Longest lasting and most played system

Oh, man. Let's see. As it stands, the one I've had the longest is probably my DS (this is technically my second one, third if you count the extra given that I sold broken, but it has yet to miss a beat). Been playing my DS for 6 years running now. Too bad the Original wasn't really made to last. The DS gets played most every day though.

I had my old Playstation for about 5 or 6 years before the center spinner popped out with a disc one day and it just sort of started to fall to pieces. Ended up throwing it out, kept the cables as extras for when I got my PS2 a couple years after (which I still have....come to think of it).

Every NES I've ever had has broken pretty badly all on it's own, so I lack one of those. I've had an SNES again for about the past four years or so now. Hadn't had one before that since I was about four or five. Had an N64 that we ended up trading up for the Gamecube, which we still have.

Oh no, I have no freaking clue what I've had the longest. :3

N64 without a doubt. I played the hell out of that thing when I was a young 'un and it still works today.
Whole days spent on Super Mario 64 were awesome! The social retardation I suffer from now isn't, mind.

My PS2. It's not working as well as it used to, but as soon as I get a harddrive for it, it'll be as good as new.

It's a tough call, because I play a lot of games.
But certainly, trough the years, maybe not the most played ( that's the PC lately ) but the longest owned and played regularly , must be what happens to be my first computer as well: A Sinclair ZX Spectrum.
I got it as a Christmas present in 1984 and it was my only system till 1989, then all hell broke loose when I got the MSX2+, GB, Nes and Snes and Amiga .......
I still own an original rubber keys Spectrum back home, so nowadays I play it trough the excellent Spectaculator on the PC, or trough ZXDS on the DS.
The latter being probably one of the best emulator for the DS for any platform I've ever seen.

My "Game & Watch: Boxing" is still working fine

but I can't say it's the one I played the most haha

the most played could be either Snes, PS1, PS2 or DS. It's hard to remember how long I played each of them.
I'm not playing on my real Snes anymore but using emulators. Sometime I take out my PS1 first release day but not playing a lot, most of the games work on PS2, only imports have positioning problems on the TV.
PS2 and DS are the one where I'm still active.

back then, that was the only console you could get in the 90's here
which played everything region-free, had imba controllers, so i had a tons of jap/eu-na games and til i got a pc, i played it for about 5 years[after that emulated]
