Hey, so I just came back to using my Wii U after about a year and looked at new games to buy and they were all still pretty expensive. I looked up a tutorial on how to get games for free and came across Loadiine, which I managed to do all correctly only to realise I accidentally updated to 5.5.2. Upon further research I found out that HB works on 5.5.2 but I've had some trouble installing it. I've tried looking for a guide on how to install it along with WUP Installer but became confused with a bunch of other applications such as Mocha. I currently have the game files for Mario Kart 8 (file name is Mario Kart 8 [AMKE01]), what do I do from here? Does WUP Installer single handedly allow me to install game files, or do I need other programs? Very confused. Apologies if this has been answered a million times.

Any help is greatly appreciated, cheers!

loadiine is old and not supported anymore.
you should look at other ways to play games, something like what is found in the "backup loader" forum section.
we have a section for that, it should be a hint that you should look there instead of the homebrew section.

more specifically, here : https://gbatemp.net/threads/wii-u-usb-loading-install-wiiu-games-to-usb-or-internal-memory.445514/
but it might be too old too.

you better start from scratch and read the guides before attempting anything :
