If you're getting loadiine to boot up properly and actually see the game files then it sounds to me like sometime is wrong with your games.

Are you including the proper title ids in the folder names of the games? And where are the games being stored on your ad card? Are you certain that the code content and meta folders all contain the proper and non corrupt files for the game? Remember that loadiine has to have those files in the proper spot to load the famed and it can't run just off of WUD files, etc.

Yeah tried 3 other games since that last post with 100% success, and yes, bad dump on the 1st :shit:.

Appreciate the help guys!

Sorry for being a noob, but how do you dump Wii U games to be in the right format for Loadiine? I have a copy of Windwaker I'd like to use, and downloading it would take a million years on my connection.
As far as I know it is not entirely possible yet. Dumpiine can only dump certain things, but I'm not sure - never tried that.

Was there ever any progress made on the "FSGetMountSource failed" error? I've been getting it sporadically throughout the week. Sometimes it'll all work fine, and then without changing anything, the next time I try, I get the error. I was able to solve it at one point by simply formatting the SD card and starting from scratch, but it's back again and that is no longer working for me. The SD card tested fine, and all the filepaths are correct, so I'm at a bit of a loss.

You would use Dumpiine and TCPGecko to do it, but even these combined can't dump everything in one go; Dumpiine can only dump RPXes and RPLs that the game actively loaded, so if it has a lot of them you'd have to beat the entire game, in theory.

TL;DR: You're better off downloading it off the Internet for now, probably, until we get a solution to dump WUDs (which can be extracted much easier).

Ah OK. I guess I have to download it from that 'iso' site?

Thanks for being more accurate.

And I would recommend downloading it too. Maybe you can find a MEGA one. ;-)

It means you have something set up wrong either on your loadiine_gx2 side on your sd card or in your server. I had the same issue I found out my loadiine_gx2.elf file was wrong also I had the wrong payload in my server, it was the payload for Browser not SD, not sure how they got mixed up but they did.

Like I said though, it's a random occurrence for me. I can play just fine, turn off the console, then try again without having touched anything, and it'll give me the error. By logic, that should mean all the files are correct.
I was able to fix it previously by starting from scratch, but that's no longer working for me.

Strange I know what you mean though, the same error popped up for me several times but my issue was the wrong payload in the server folder, now I remember.

Thanks guys. If I play on the disc for a while, will I be able to continue on the downloaded copy? Wondering whether it's worth starting now :-)

Yes, you can use Saviine, I think it's called, to dump the save from the disc version and use with the Loadiine copy. Just note that you can't go the other way right now (Loadiine save -> Wii U internal memory).

yes, you can go the other way.
You can inject loadiine saves back to the console and continue playing from disc.

I did it with XenobladeX and could connect online with my save started with loadiine.

If you start the game for the first time, I recommend using the "unique save" mode, it will use the same folder names and layout than saviine.
it will be easier to work with both homebrew.

After a bit more testing, it appears to be something to do with the "games" folder. The game in particular that I'm testing with is Minecraft. If it's present in the "games" folder, I get the "FSGetMountSource failed" error when loading from SD, and if I load from a URL, it just shows no games. After removing Minecraft, I no longer get any errors, and all of the games show up. I'm not sure if it's Minecraft specifically causing this, or if it could be replicated with other games, but it is what's causing my issues.

Is that a recent development? From what I knew, you couldn't.

Might be a bad meta or xml in the minecraft folder.
