Heres what I did:
1) Download touchpod firmware 4.3j from here.
2) Download Sakura 1.41 from here.
3) Extract the Sakura 1.41 "SYSTEM" folder to the root of your microSD.
4) Extract the touchpod firmware to a temporary place (your desktop, for example), it should give you another "SYSTEM" folder, copy the realtime.dat file from there to the "SYSTEM" folder on your microSD (replace any that are already there).

...and, you should be able to soft reset when clicking the 'Main Menu' option on the RTS menu

@ DeltaBurnt & Skyline969:

You both have in your profile that you love M3 (Sakura), so we can expect you guys to be biased.

Yes I clearly love Sakura alot but there has been many times where I will try and help someone and they get pissed and decided to get an acekard and I say "Ok have fun with it" (and that's not meant to be sarcastic). Most of the time I'm not going to keep trying to persuade people to like Sakura or M3 products it's just a waste of time if they really don't like it and I'm just not that kind of person.

I honestly support getting acekard2i or supercardds1i.

If I am truly biased then I suggest people not listen to me.

I'm not biased - I'm just sick of people saying Sakura and the M3 Team suck because of a few flaws. I won't lie - Sakura is one of the best flashcard menus out there (apart from one, which shall remain nameless until a later date), and it has its bugs. All menus have bugs. But it doesn't mean it sucks. If you don't like Sakura, too bad for you, but I try to help people out as much as I can. I don't bash other cards (except R4) or their menus, but I sure can compare them. Where's the bias in that?

Also posted in the M3 Sakura FAQ thread:

I went through and made a few changes to the SYSTEM folder from http://gbatemp.net/index.php?download=4808 to make it easier for everyone (especially M3i Zero owners).

Changes:
1) F_CORE.DAT (1.4 compatible) is added to the package.
2) cheat.db is updated to the 9/1 release.
3) realtime.dat is replaced with the one from the latest TouchPod, which should fix the soft reset problems.

Enjoy!

Hmmm sounds interesting, are you talking about a menu you reviewed and can't talk about yet or some menu that someone hasn't finished yet?
This interested me too.
I'm guessing Skyline969 either is in close contact with someone programming a new menu, or involved in the project themself.

I'm a tester for a new menu coming out. Ha, I wish I could help design it! No, I have absolutely no experience in DS programming, so I would be as useless as a wet noodle. However, he does take the suggestions I and my fellow testers make. But trust me, it's gonna be good.

It may be ready sooner than you think. Maybe not though. I found a few huge bugs today when I tried the new build, such as ROM support being completely broken (won't load a ROM) and not displaying all your ROMs. Homebrew works 100%. However, they're getting fixed as soon as I and the other testers report them, so that's good. The programmer's very passionate about it, so you know it's getting some hard work put into it.

Haha, I wish I could, but he's said we don't need any more testers. The team's rather large as it is, and having too many increases the risk of a leak.

Not that I don't trust you, I do, but the team's full.
