Hacking Linking to Wii

Has anyone tried linking Pokemon Diamond/Pearl or Geometry Wars: Galaxies to Wii with a flashcart (preferably CycloDS or R4)? If so, what is the performance like? Does it work? I want to know because if it doesn't work, I might as well buy a legit cart.

What do you mean? Do I have to patch the ROM to make it work or I can just use the ones normally found in ROM sites? Also, Pokemon Battle Revolution and Geometry Wii are legit...

No, I mean the region of the game has to match on all ... for instance, European Wii game + European DS game ... US Wii game + US DS game ... stuff like that

Yep ... with a few different carts ...

Pokemon Wii link currently will only work with CycloDS and G6Real - it does not work for R4. Geometry Wars Wii link seems to work with most flash carts.

How about linking to the WiiWare game Pokemon Ranch? CycloDS does not work for that, so I'd assume most other carts don't either.
