I bought it used without any game, for about 20€

But my point is: for what reason this kind of big company printed this sign? is this gbc some kind of reward for employees or someone just printed it in house (but i dont think so - the sign is printed straight without any sign of amateur work)

It could have been a developer thing... But that's highly unlikely.

You should keep it safe though; who knows.

Well, apparently Virgin Megastores sold games and imprinted their old logo and a Pikachu (to attract customers) on a GBC.

1. Why Google finds nothing? It's weird a bit
2. For what reason this sticker/print was made?
3. By who? By fan or by company?

I'd expect it to be the opposite.

No one would want to buy something with a store's name branded on it.

I have about six of those. Black/Silver/20th/All Black(JP)/All Silver(JP)/Blue(JP). Micros dominate. Though I am partial to the SP.

About the same as a DS cost right now. Once the GBA came out the price on the GBCs went down pretty fast.

Oh wow! I love the clear purple color! I wish I had that color, but I never had the money to buy any Game Boy Color for myself (my mother makes me pay for every system I get, unless it is a gift from someone). I am sure glad that the Game Boy Advance can play Game Boy Color games.
