The download link to the databases leads to my GitHub, I just named it the way I did because I plan to add cheats for other various systems outside the Nintendo DS eventually.
He’s using my databases in his kernel is what he was meaning. YSMenu still uses the old CMP database, it’s just edited to have AP cheats for YSMenu should a game not work properly.

I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
