This may be the best smart phone deal going right now (in the U.S.). It's the Virgin Mobile LG Optmus V. It's running Android 2.2 Froyo.

Best Buy has the phone for $129.99 (without a contract) and you can get unlimited data and text for $25 per month. It's the exact same phone as the Sprint version, and uses the Sprint network.

It's also available at Radio Shack, and a few other places.

I think I'll stick with my HTC Desire HD. It's a better phone than the Optimus V.
