Loopy supposedly has the common key but I haven't seen any proof of that or doing anything with it.

Have you guys seen Rockstar99's "hack"...
Biggest joke ever...

Why find 1 ? can't someone make 1 or a proxy.jackdanielchan said:Your hack to revive non DSi specific Flash Cards, would be a great idea, because you would need custom firmware, and that would just open up the DSi like the PSP.
As for hacking ideas, we can't really do anything until we find the common-key for a DSi

lol proxy, wtf?

I'm pretty sure the common key is actually found within the DSi's firmware. That is, if you can dump and decrypt that.jackdanielchan said:Umm, the common-key is found inside DSiware, I don't think you can make one...
It's that guy? LOL! Serious failure there. I always did wonder why he wanted those icons...RiderLeangle said:No. he makes those guys look good.

Well...the better thing to do would be to get the raw firmware files right off of the DSi, after they've been installed. After all, the DSi has to decrypt them to install them.RiderLeangle said:Well lets hope someone can download the 1.3 firmware to their PC and decrypt that.
Not sure if NUS Downloader works for that though, I'm sure it could but you'd have to find out how.
EDIT: i may not know actual programming but I can basically do things. I want to try something, does anyone know a program that can open DSiWare .bin files? MagicISO doesn't.
Real question here.. If it's a DSi why is Guitar Hero on there?Da-Bomb1 said:It's that guy? LOL! Serious failure there. I always did wonder why he wanted those icons...RiderLeangle said:Well lets hope someone can download the 1.3 firmware to their PC and decrypt that.

...oh, and .bin files can be anything. .bin really just means that it's a binary file. And these ones are encrypted. If we could open them up, we wouldn't have to look for the common key like this anymore.
Well obviously we'd have to figure out how to dump it first, and like I said, by that point it'd be hacked and pointless

Haha, true, but it could be the button hack.RiderLeangle said:Real question here.. If it's a DSi why is Guitar Hero on there?Da-Bomb1 said:It's that guy? LOL! Serious failure there.
