LeiJi Loader, Load NSMB stage arc file from SD card

This Loader could load stage arc file directly from SD card without modifying ISO. It's based on WiiPower's NeoGamma r8 beta7.

Note : It only works on PAL version of NSMB.

    Usage :
1.Put your stage file to "LeiJi" directory inside the root directory, and rename it to "ma_niao.arc". The file has a size limit of 448k, though the stage arc files always be 10k to 30k.
2.Load this program, it has the same interface as NeoGamma, boot NSMB as usual and stage 1-1 will be replaced as your custom stage.

Credits to goyouwii who made it happen.

Please check the original post, the author adds some information to explain how it works.

Is it really that difficult to respect the GPL?

I'm getting pissed off by people like this too.

I regularly get requests to make custom forwarders so recently got your source AGAIN WiiPower (thanks [IMG] ) and posted it in forums and within a few hours people had posted forwarders on a few sites without the source as foooking usual.

I think some do this so they keep some sort of power over others, one site I go on from time to time has someone who posts some GPL compiled code and actually says they wont give the source so don't ask. I think they do this to seem cool, 1337 or clever when infact it makes them look like a total tosspot.

Sharing the code means it gets better, I for one was curious to see the source for this too as NSMB doesn't seem to access the SD card in play, so I'd like to see how they did it because I'd like to try some things with other games. If NSMB doesn't do the reading from SD card and they added code that does then the implications are quite cool.

My comment are not directed at you computerboy, it's not your responsibility to learn and understand the GPL. It's the responsibility of those that edit and release the app [IMG]

And that's good so. No Source and no Read Me's from WiiPower are in the Package --> Violation of GPL (kinda like SNEEK). Anyone that uploads this again doesn't support the GPL, and the origianal Authors of this App. The ones that made this have to release it with the Source.

But sadly, if you want it, you can always get it [IMG]...there's realy no chance that a file can get completely out of the Internet..

Just about everything done with wii-homebrew right now was once labeled as "impossible"

Loading the file into the game is something really interesting as i would think the best way for doing it would be a modified IOS, but this does not mention any IOS. It should be possible to patch the game to load the file from sd instead of from disc, but i think that would require some really good hacking. Anyways, if this was just some "autoforce autoboot whatever" version, i wouldn't care about the source, but this mod is interesting, that's why the missing source hurts.

Sorry for the GPL, I have contacted the original author for the source. I would upload when he gives me.

[IMG] I'm dying for a look, and wondering what we can load into other games, or force games to read things from SD/USB.
