that update has wrecked my console lego city is constantly freezing now or i get the code 150-1051 disc can't be read errors! it did it yesterday and again today twice in a row!!!!!

The LEGO city code is unique, so you gotta buy it.

It's bad if the update changed something for this game (and maybe other specific games that we don't know yet).
There will probably be game's updates or a new console's one to fix them if it's really something done by the latest console's update.

dunno i only have one disc game
going to call N on monday (in 2 days) and demand an answer i suspect though i have the ROD and if that's the case i can kiss my save files goodbye since i'll be getting a replacement console

if you send the console to Nintendo to get the replacement, I'm sure they can restore your save files. They could do it on Wii using the pink fish disc.
Tell us what Nintendo tells you about this problem, if it's caused by the update, or just your drive dying.

last time i sent my console in to them (the wii early in it's release) they didn't restore anything including my eshop funds

just found out my disc is fucked there's no scratches or marks on the back though so i have no clue how it happened??

How do you know it's your disc? Well, it's gotta be because the WiiU is working perfectly fine for me and I haven't ran into any problems. Why do you think it's your disc?

because i tried it on 2 wiiu 1 with the latest update and one without and now it won't even boot.

You must have just got a faulty unit that was just waiting to break or something. This is the first I've heard of such an instance.

it's doing it on 2 consoles. just tried 2 other games (mario and nland from the other console) they both started right up no probs soon as i put this back in POW that error comes straight back up. it's the disc for sure.

Yes, I saw evening I think, so there should be night. Depends on you're WiiU time.

Oh wow, it's realtime day/night? That's awesome! Only other game I know that does that is WoW. Is this game online too? Think I might get a Wii U just for this game eventually. Gonna wait and see if they release a LE Zelda console, doubt it though.
