Gaming Left handed troubles

I use both hands for the mouse but using a stylus with my right hand just won't be as good with my left hand no matter how hard I try. I'm interested in that training game though but a lot of everyday things are right-handed but I guess you can't blame society for that.

I'm pretty sure that Modern Warfare has a left handed option alongside most DS shooters.

Sure do although I hate using the ABXY buttons for moving, the D-pad is so much more easier to use for that.

Modern Warfare does have a left handed option but, as ZPE said, using the ABXY buttons for moving is really annoying. Metroid Prime Hunters is good because it lets you use buttons only negating any problems with left handedness

I agree with not liking the ABXY buttons for movement, it's quite awkward, and moving diagonally is a pain in the arse. I hate having to use the stylus generally, and having to use it in my right hand is usually the last straw.

True that. It just became awkward when I was in school, so I just eventually changed to using the mouse with my right hand. Felt horrible at first, now it feels fine. In fact I can't really use a mouse with my left hand any more.

Yeah, I agree. I started computing at an age so young it was easy for me to make the swap. I can mouse perfectly with my right hand, except where I have to make extremely precise mouse movements (any sort of art.) hence why I bought a tablet.

As to the left-handed troubles, I certainly have encountered them but more often than not I either A) Use my right hand and deal with it (That's what I did with Metroid Prime.) or B) Don't bother with the game, because most of them will be shooters and shooters on the DS suck.

I do use lefty flip when it's available, but it's not THAT much trouble to quickly touch a menu option even if your hand will obscure the screen a bit. Hell, I game on my iPod touch, with my fat fingers in the way half the time.

Huh? I've never had a problem with controls. I'm a lefty. So far, devs have been pretty smart to add Lefty controls unlike many morons who forget there's another hand.

Haven't seen any game that's right handed that can't adapt for lefty (I'm lefty to the limits lol)

I don't have any problem in any of the COD games
