Do it. The game is repetitive and gets old fast, but for $7 you'll definitely get your moneys worth.

There's a L4D bundle that includes both games for $10, an even better steal.

I LOVE the campaign levels from the first one, spent many nights up with bros playing through it on the 360 when it came out. For a little under $4, definitely worth it to play through those awesome levels on PC now... =D

Plus you can also shoot with a micron of accuracy on the PC version. Just beware of those super-pouncers that practice perfect jumping curves.

Crates are pretty darn common and are certainly not worth paying for.
