Back4Blood might carry on the spirit of the Left4Dead franchise in the form of a new game, but that doesn't mean the L4D property isn't going unused, sort of. Zombie Army 4: Dead War has just announced that it'll be getting a cross-over with Left4Dead, featuring the original cast of Bill, Francis, Zoey, and Louis as playable characters in the game's latest season. The character pack will be available for free, though Zombie Army 4: Dead War has received a new DLC campaign called Abaddon Asylum, priced at $6.99, or included as part of the $29.99 Season Pass 3.

Without the basic features that made that series good, but if you squint a lot and loosen your definition of words, that's almost true yeah.
