People try to be silly & humorous, and all the kiddies think it's funny, and oh-so clever, to pick apart the humour, because of grammar or what-have-you ... if you don't find me funny, that's fine, but why make yourself look tedious and pedantic, whilst trying to make yourself look witty and sharp?

I try to bring light and levity into the whole room, whereas you are just trying to use a stolen spotlight to make yourself look brilliant.

if you said my grandma was cloned i would take offense, too

Well now, I never knew GBAtemp had such interesting members. XD

I too am Chinese, but my Chinese kinda sucks since like practically the only time I passed it was during finals in Secondary School.

It's a useful language to learn, since nearly everyone here converses in Chinese. A large percentage of Singapore are Chinese, after all.

(I sorta feel ashamed because my Chinese is so bad. D:)

haha! i know what u mean, my O level chinese was.... F9.

But who the hell cares? i'm in uni now. so much for chinese.

Anyway even the majority of people in china don't speak chinese (mandarin that is) but Cantonese.

Why learn Chinese?

If you can't think of 4 reasons within a second of thinking of that question, you're not old enough.
If I were to want to learn a pictograph based language, I'd pick Egyptian hieroglyphics first...

I can't think of a good reason either, as if he were Chinese, one would assume that he already knew Chinese. If he's not Chinese or already lives in a non-Chinese speaking country why bother? There are many better choices for foreign languages than Chinese unless you're doing it for some esoteric ethnic reasons.

do u happen to have one in traditional chinese?

QUOTEUm yeah.. But that one is deceased.

Deceased o.O, does anyone happen to have it : )?

Huh?

Sorry but "I is suck at English LAHHH."

Whats with people being picky about other people's grammar.. Have you guys NOT been to a bilingual/trilingual/w/e forum before? Those people usually have even poorer English than I.
