Leaked Duke Nukem Forever 2001 build gets a first trailer for its restoration project, titled "First Slice"

Back in May of this year, new never-before-seen footage of the then unreleased 2001 build of Duke Nukem Forever started showing up online, and afterwards, the build of the game got leaked online, with many Duke Nukem fans trying it out and testing the build left and right. The build itself was quite playable to some extend, with a lot of the assets and mechanics in place, but as expected, with several places being unfinished or non-existent.

Since then, many avid and knowledgeable fans have started work on restoring the content of the beta build into a more finished, playable state from start to finish. The Restoration Project released their first trailer on December 19th, 2022, showcasing a lot of content restored and work put into the leaked build, with an expected date of release set for December 21st.

Those interested can follow the YouTube channel and check out the ModDB page for the Restoration Project, which will be live in December 21st.

Oh okay sorry.

JazzGruff (Jazz2Online user) tried to do what they could to the leaked alpha with "unofficial patches" but he gave up after realizing he didn't have much to work on with Unreal Engine 1 and probably lost interest since the Jazz 3 was literally in the pitch phase and wasn't even considered "started"

The only thing that was most finished was the soundtrack by Alexander Brandon, which is really good considering it never officially released. (Fun fact there is a soundclip blooper in the files where the proposed voice actor who was likely going voice Jazz very clearly says "ah fucking shit." and "ohhh shit." (no idea if this game was planned to be mature or if the VA was goofing off) - Source (was obsessed with Jazz 3D for a short time and followed JazzGruff development)

Hopefully my response to you will finally quell the incessant posting you have been doing so this can finally stop and end

TO STAY ON TOPIC:
I really hope we see this come to full fruition of DNF 2001. Even if the "story" elements have to be changed because the DNF 2001 story was unknown....it has to be better than the DNF we got

What kind of Source? Username or Game Engine? If that’s username then in that case I never heard before about him or her.
