La-Mulana Coming To WiiWare

While it was briefley mentioned here this deserves its own topic.

La-Mulana is one of the holy grails in the homebrew (just like Cave Story was) and it was announced that it is coming to WiiWare and while the original was 8-bit MSX style in look, this new version will sport a more 16-bit look. There aren't any other details.

Looks cool.. the original game had a bunch of MSX roms inside of it.. I wonder how they'll deal with that.

It's being developed by NICALIS, which is also bringing Cave Story and Night Game to WiiWare..

I've been meaning to try the original version but lost my copy and link to it after a hard drive crash.

Seems the Wiiware is getting some strong indie games.
I hope this keeps going and we see some more god games instead of the onslaught of casual crappy games that come out now and then.

Gah, still waiting for Cave Story though. Maybe if I have some wii points left over I might buy this one too.
