Hacking Kind of basic question. How to patch VC and estore games?

I got my WiiU going with disc games from USB, now I can't install VC and estore games, because they aren't patched? How to do that? Is it like in 3ds, will games start in future without problems, or I will have to do something each time before loading them? I'm kind of new to this, and need to figure it out :\
