Gaming KHBBS Save File Issue

I updated my friends PSP from CFW M33-4 to GEN D-3 and now all of a sudden, his save files for Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep are corrupted. What the hell happened!? Is there any way I can fix this problem with his save files!?

use a cfw other than gen-D3

cfw updates are known to cause problems with saves, an gen-D3 has it even worse.
installing 5.50 prometheus-v2 might make the save usable again.

Exactly, GEN-D3 is known to be incompatible with other stuff. Fortunately, installing Prometheus replaces the faulty pegasus.prx with one that works right. When I went from D2 to Prometheus I first installed D3 and then immediately installed Prometheus and have had no problems. I haven't tried Prometheus-v2 but it should work the same.
