To anyone having the "Windows cannot open this file" problem, I was having the same problem but I found a way around it. I'm using vista so I set the Patcher to run in XP compatibility mode and to run as admin. That got it to work. Let me know if this method works for you =]

He already stated before that he's not making a full translation. What he has released now is the final, and first, version of his patch. Besides, it's a little less than a month until the game hits the US. Can't you wait?

Lemme see: you need a toaster oven, your computer, and flashcart. Stick flashcard in toaster oven and set on high for 15 minutes. Apply patch as instructed.

Well anyways I was having a tad of fun. The game comes out in a month, just wait a tad. Heart Gold and Soul Silver Pokemon are gonna keep me busy for about 3 weeks, so BINGO!

for all those who have the error, read through the 37 pages to find your solution
if you are too lazy, blame all the noobs who can't figure things out on their own and contributed to the 37 pages of repetitive posts all concerning the same problem and solution

Here's my full solution.

1.Install the Microsoft.NET framework here:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/netframework/aa569263.aspx
2.Download the patch here:
http://www.mediafire.com/?jtmjg1nmi0c
3.Place a clean, unpatched, untrimmed, unfixed ROM in a folder.
4.Next, open the executable file or KH Patcher.exe
5.Click Select ROM.
6.Click Apply Patch.
7.Wait for the green bar to load.
8.Place the patched ROM on your card.

There. I doubt this will shut up nubz. There's gotta be some way to do it.

It's so easy and self explanatory to use, yet the noobs still continue to say it's hard. Maybe a command line version could be easier.
