ROM Hack KH 358/2

Okay, I'm having problems.

I'm on the Windows 7 Beta, so that MAY be the problem. This is the only way I have access to Windows, since I'm using it on my iMac.

Anyway, I downloaded the patch, chose the rom, and clicked apply patch. I made sure they were in the same folder. Then I get an error from Windows saying it doesn't know what program to use to open .patcher files. I close the programs, and I tried to install the .net framework, even though I have no idea what it is. When I download the setup for it from Microsoft, I click run and nothing happens. I still can't get it to work.

Ok this is so easy but no one can figure it out.
Vista: Click Properties
Go to the compatibility Tab
Click on Windows XP SP2
Check Start as administrator
and Viola! Or if that doesn't work click on the apply patch rapidly after doing these steps (It may not work for some but it worked for me

)

This has worked every time I try to patch it.

As for my contribution to this as i have seen this brought up a couple of times now, when the project is finished i will make (if not done already) a thread on how to apply this patch and then apply the IPS "fix" so that the translated version will be playable on all carts.

This won't be necessary.

Yea i wasn't really planning on it being easy, was thinking of making a batch to do it for people, but i am VERY glad you saved me the trouble by adding it in yourself, excellent work, also off topic

I was skeptical that pressing "Apply Patch" rapidly would do anything, but it did.
Thumbs up, and now I'm gonna try playing the patchon my R4.

Patch works great. The EXE gave me some weird error, but still produced a patched game. Thanks
