Hacking K3DS Production started!

20.7.2014: Production has started
We had very busy last weeks so that we were not able to answer the mails in time. Several features of our Launcher are close to be finished and the first batches are close to completion.
That means that we will contact our reviewers soon regarding the samples. Please do not ask us directly, we will write you email when we can ship your card.
We will complete our launcher before we ship out any PCBs. So please be patient and don't preorder yet.

This is becoming really interesting, i know most of you are Gateway-Pro but this new card seem really serious, it's like a Gateway3DS-DSTWO in one card, that's awesome.

Word on the street was that this card was/is a scam by a GBAtemp member.

Given that, I'd wait to see a finished card before getting too excited.

By the way, a sheet of stickers is not solid proof that the card is in production.

Too many flashcard websites is listing it to be a fake. It looks serious

Well according to them reputable review sites will receive their own to test and report on. If the reviews are good and the sites that made the reviews are legit, then I would way would be a time to consider getting one. For now, perhaps just continue research on it and wait and see what others end up saying.

I'm also sure that EVENTUALLY (If it's possible in any respect - or if this card is real) Gateway will make it so that DS games can be played as well without Cart-switching.


Also, they said, "Independend" so... credibility down?

they dont even look like stickers, looks like someone just printed it out on regular paper with their printer and then cut a few out (very poorly at that given the size differences)

Yeah, I was being generous by calling them stickers -- to give them the benefit of the doubt, I thought that it might be sticker paper --

But they certainly don't look like the sheets of stickers that come with DS cards (Acekard, R4 etc), which have borders between each sticker.

Also I'm curious how:
A) DS games would be playable on a single 3DS cart under gateway mode
and
B) How you'd "install" the exploit without a proper DS cart.

Since hitting the button changes modes, you just insert the card. If it doesn't show the NDS game, hit the button. Exploit and NDS games would be able to be used. After running the exploit and you are in haxors mode, hit the button again, and the NDS game should turn into a 3DS one. Just speculation based on what is currently available from Gateway and MT-Card.

The idea itself is feasible hence believable. It is possible to toggle between a DS cart and a 3DS cart using a switch.

But like some have said, this was proven to be a scam/prank done by a member here.
