actually, one pretty similar seems to be in production. It's only in Beta 1 right now (or, as it is put, 0.1) but it seems to be working fine minus the fps dropping with to many particles.

World of Sand is a pretty damn popular homebrew..
It's on Yasu's page, and in DSOrganize homebrew database.
You can download it from the database straight to your DS.
Something I will now do in about an hour..
