So, I downloaded the latest DSTT Kernal, and extracted everything in the .zip to my SD card. I few a few roms on the root, along with Still Alive to test it out, and upon booting it, I get a message saying, "Menu?"
Obviously, I'm doing something wrong. Any help?

You need to download a TTMenu. The DSTT usually comes with a disk, that contains the menu. You need a menu to run the games do you not? You can download this off the net. Like i did. Look for a folder called "eng". Thats the one you want

Also, its highly recommended that you put you roms in folders rather than on the root because I've heard it can corrupt.

When I downloaded the Kernal, it added a folder called "eng"
What do I do with it?
Also, my DSTT did not come with a CD. Do you have any idea where I can find it (I know you said on the net, but I don't want to download something that will corrupt my DSTT.

EDIT:
Got menu to work, got StillAlive and Bangai-O-Spirits to work as well.
When I try N+, it says "creating save file" and then fails to load because, "no sav file found"
It worked for the other games, so why not N+?

Mine didn't come with a CD either. Just use the one off the internet. Its fine.

Also, the "eng" folder has two things in it:

- TTMenu Folder
-TTMenu.dat

Copy and paste the TTMenu folder into your microSD card. Also copy the TTmenu.dat onto it. Keep them on the root; make sure they're not in any other folder because the TT might not be able to pick it up.

Dwight, i have no idea why it didn't work. That happens to me all the time too. Every time it doesn't work for me, I just make a backup of all my roms and files, and reformat it. It works afterwards.

The first thing to do if you get that save not found error is to put the microSD in your PC and check to see if there is a save file for the game.
If there is one, it will quite likely have an extension of .SAV instead of .sav (upper case when it should be lower case).

Rename it to .sav and it should work.
Alternatively, I believe renaming the game with a name of at least 8 characters prevents this from happening. Keep this in mind for any other ROMs you copy that have very short names.
