Hacking Just got Acekard 2

WOW! This thing rocks.

Anyone have any advice as for software I should try?
Kind of a must try/have list.

Try...
(.)(.)(.) latest variety of firmwares, OEM, AKAIO, etc.
(.)(.) moonshell [dpg player, poor interface but good playback] (use Super to convert files before)
(.) tuna-vids [avi player, good interface but poor playback] (use Super to convert files before)

MoonShell has an EXCELLENT INTERFACE! Choose it over tuna vids. Tuna isn't noob friendly in ANY WAY either.

And also use AKAIO (AceKard ALL in ONE)

Definitely try AKAIO. I've actually never used the official firmware from AK2.

The actual firmware is good, but I like the tons of features AKAIO offers.

That should give you a nice feel for everything your acekard 2 can do, and once you get used to everything you can start removing/adding your own applications or what not.
