Good day everyone :)

Today I've softmoded my first WII with succes :) (via Modmii). But now I have a problem. If I start J D 2019 I've got a black screen.

I first thought that the WBFS file was bad, but emu dolphin just played the game fine.

Software
Wii is at 4.3E
Cfg loader is (I think on the latest version) v70/249

What I've tried:
  • Changing the IOS to 249 and 250
  • Changing the region (pal or ntsc)
Nothing helped, did I do something wrong?

Here is the syscheck

Hello,

Syscheck report, OK.

If you launch your game from a USB key, it can come from it.

prefer an external hard drive for better connectivity.

Or bad copy of the game

I've had problems loading Just Dance in the past several times. Just today I tried Just Dance 2016 which resulted in black screen. I remember installing either special ios for it, or changing some kind of alternative .dol. And it worked, but don't remember what exactly.

Set slot back to 249. You don't need to switch to 250 anymore because modmii now makes you install the best IOS in default slot (249 instead of 250).
what you need to this game is a cIOS based on IOS57, and if you look at your syscheck the "[57]" is in slot249.

Try another loader (wiiflow or USBLoaderGX), just to be sure the problem is not CFG itself.
maybe CFGLoader has an "auto slot selection" option ? be sure it's loading slot249 and not another slot based on requested base.

you tried changing the region? how? the console's region?
Is the game EUR or USA?
set video mode settings to match game's region.

@Cyan @RobinMeade @jeannotte ;) thanks for the tips. I've ript the games (all JD versions) again on a HDD and everything works (without changing anything). Which is kinda strange:glare:.

So in the end everything works like a charm :)
