Hacking Just another noob question about local play

i have a 3ds US set and N3ds jap set.

One using sky3ds and another using gateway.

Using the same rom (mario kart US), The jap set will have connection error when i goes into local play.

Using the same rom for the 3ds, i got another rom MarioKart JAP for N3ds. this time both can go in but cant connect to each other. both of it tries creating game and cant find any created game.

how to fix this?

You can't do local play with a game from a different region as your console.
You can't do local play with two consoles of different regions.
Region lock. No way out. You're boned.

Pretty sure there's a way to emunand a different region, wouldn't that fix the problem?

I've seen a topic in this section recently about it, don't think there was a download at the time though.
