I just wanted to ask if crucial was correct about my max amount of RAM.

My Dell N5030 currently has 3GB of RAM and want to upgrade sometime in the future when I have some money.

BUT...The Dell site says up to 4GB of RAM but Crucial says 8GB max. So which is correct? Any help is appreciated.

Dell might have meant that they give 4GB of RAM max when SELLING the laptop to you (http://www.dell.com/ca/p/inspiron-15-n5030/pd), Crucial could have meant that the MOTHERBOARD supports UP TO 8GB of RAM.
