JTAG or RGH on newer 360's ?

Hello to all.
I recently took my Xbox 360 E to mod it and the shop I took it to said that they will JTAG the console. I've heard that you can only RGH an Xbox 360 E and JTAG was for the older systems. Is this true?

They can’t, RGH (and variants) only. Maybe they’re thinking of R-JTAG?

Possibly, I’d have to check a compatibility list, although only they can obviously give a definitive answer.

Guess we'll have to wait and see what type of modification it is in dash launch once I get the console.

RGH / DVD drive flash on an E. if it is a winchester, then they’re unhackable. I have seen a video threads with CPU swaps and a zero fuse CPU used, but i never fully investigated the info RE CPU swap & Winchester.

Modshops don't know what they're talking about and only do it for the money, hence the JTAG advertising on their website as everybody knows what that does.
