so recently my right joycon analog has ben drifting A LOT upwards, what makes some games unplayable like smash ultimate and in some other games the camera keeps tilting up when im not constantly moving, so i thought it would only be possible fixing it with some tweak to remap the joycon analog or deactivating it temporarily.

does anyone know something that could help me besides buying something to replace? i already cleaned it with compressed air and nothing helped.

thx in advance

If canned air doesn't help, wd40 contact cleaner would be the next step.
And if that doesn't help, replacing the stick with a ~5-10 dollar kit would be the next thing to try

You could also try to open the drifting stick and clean the Contacts inside but that's kind of more hassle than just getting a replacement stick

You won't scratch anything with a cotton swab.
what i meant is that maybe there's a physical defect causing it and just cleaning it doesnt help, i watched about it on a kevin kenson video

correct, if its the standard problem caused by wear off, you can only replace the stick itself and prepare yourself to swap the unit again from time to time
