So all I have to do is use my computer and GBAtemp grows.

How does this help GBAtemp in growing?

Or maybe not.

But I guess by "growing",I meant growing in Ranks.

The best at clicking.

That's a title to be proud of.

I have to agree with the sentiment here. yes the website has been around for awhile but here are a few things that are somewhat troubling

1) No source code. Without this it is impossible to determine what the application is collecting and doing. This is an issue with all closed source material, but for an application that claims to be essentially one hair width away from being a keylogger, such disclosure would be a nice step

2) Dubious value. Again what are we trying to measure here? I guess if you're some kind of Korean Starcraft player your APM/mouse movements might be worth measuring? Other than that, I guess it's 'interesting' but not much beyond that.

I guess for me #1 is the most critical. For something that 'tracks' keystrokes then uploads encrypted data to a centralised server for stats tracking, a bit more clarity in how the application works would be nice and really aleviate a lot of the legitimate security concerns.

I would assume, simply from the point Chhotu answered "ranks", it's a measure of a groups collective epeen size. Anyone acquainted with the ways of the internet should know there's no value in such measurements.

If we're 'recruting' we should really create a GBATemp group for the World Community Grid instead. At least that 'dick waving contest' of cycles and whatever is actually benefiting humanity in some way.

Any takers?

I'll make one if that's the case.

Or how about making a folding@home GBAtemp group? Convert our unused system resources into a branch for cloud computing specifically designed to help those crazy scientists with their number crunching. That'd benefit humanity even more in the long run.

Yeah...I'm not gonna join, keyloggers are something I'd rather avoid.

And I'm with Chaz, I really don't see the point in this.
