I have mentioned blackcats in the past and demonoid. I've also seen mods say the torrent invite requests are ok when put in your sig... so not quite sure if your right about this one.
None the less if it is somehow agianst the rules, my bad.
um right. They have a 10,000 user limit I had checked periodically for 2 days and registration was closed. Now its open. But here's a cookie for trying to be helpful, now back to the corner with you.

Just ran a search, "demonoid" comes up with 10 pages of results on gbatemp. So it should be cool, after all saying Joh's gc tracker isn't a promotion of piracy. Usenet is mentioned quite often because we assume a certain amount of ignorance surrounds it in regard to the uninitiated. Torrents are albeit simpler but none the less the very mention of them does not lead directly to pirating; aside from registration there are other steps one must take. Furthermore, if we are to avoid the very mention of “trackers” then a moratorium should be enforced on the word “torrents” as well. After all, the very mention of the word could send the unfeathered masses into a googling frenzy, hence leading to rampant piracy.

My account there got purged for inactivity a long time ago. It's not the greatest tracker around anyway.
it's not a very busy tracker. it can be difficult to seed back everything you've downloaded.

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better. -

I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way
