I'm set as far as (U) games go, but I want some more Japanese saturn games, preferrably shmups or anything easy to play & enjoy without knowing the moonrunes (So no RPGs). I already have Radiant Silvergun, but that's it. I plan on getting Fighters Megamix and Burning Rangers, however. A quick description would be nice, too.

Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't get a Japanese version of Burning Rangers as it's text and speech heavy. If you've already cleared the English version it's fine but if it's your first time playing then it might make it a little difficult.

Are you playing on an emu or a real Saturn?

Oh, it got released over here. Should've checked that. And I'll be playing on a real saturn, just picked up a Model-2 at a LGS, and I'm ordering a racketboy modchip later this week.

Really just looking for any cool fighters/shooters out there.

To play Japanese games you're going to need an Action Replay. They're a good buy anyway because they give you 1/4M RAM expansion and loads of backup space for your saves.

[HUGE list of games]

Wow! Thanks for the nice list!

A lot of those shooters I either have or have close versions of in MAME, but I'll probably grab DoDonPatchi just because it's awesome. A lot of those fighters look fun, too! A bunch of those games I already have. You wouldn't have to convince me to get Shining Force III - I'm a huge fan of the series.

And I know about the Expansion cart, but I'll probably either patch the games or use the region switch mod for my (J) games.

Not a problem! I'd definitely recommend an AR cart though, even if it's just for the 1/4M RAM expansion, alot of the fighters/shooters at the end of the Saturns life made use of it so you'll miss out on a bunch of excellent games. If you're a SF fan then you won't be able to play SF Zero 2/3. I keep meaning to get my PAL Saturn switch modded but it's a Model 1 so it can't be chipped, my Japanese Saturn is chipped but I don't want to switch mod it because it's one of the more rare V-Saturns and I don't wanna go cutting into the case! lol

I've got a bunch of good Saturn sites if you want the links, let me know and I'll PM you.
