The monitor from buy.com is a refurbed Samsung I think. In my opinion it seems like an awesome deal... huge res and huge monitor for just 10 dollars more than 21.5" Acer. (If you use a $10 off coupon for buy.com)

Im not too sure

I think im going to nab the $20 off deal off the asus
its a 5ms screen though, the other one I posted in the other thread is a 2ms

they pretty much all seem the same
except one is on sale

The one you want to get is extremely similar to mine, except yours is 2ms and seems to have slightly better speakers... so I'll probably end up getting that one too since they are the exact same price (for right now).

gonna hook my 360/PS3 up to it also
so a couple inches bigger would benefit
wanna see what all this 1080p hype is about

other then that, they are the exact same

I actually started the search for a regular 19" wide screen lol
now just have to wait till it gets here...

Nice! I don't think an inch or two will make a difference though... and I have to save as much money as possible. I just found out today that Newegg charges tax to California buyers, so I'll have to pay an extra 15~20 bucks for the monitor... plus shipping which isn't always free is usually 15 more...

Yeah, I did, but I'm kind of waiting on the Asus to come back in stock... though I don't know how long that takes :\ But yeah, the Asus seems the best for that price.

just got the screen

looks amazing

no dead pixels or anything

took me a little while to figure out how to scale the screen to full even after I set 1920x1080

going to see what the dark knight (blu-ray) looks like in 1080p via PS3

anyone know good 1080p wallpaper sites?
current one is only 1024x768 D:
