Hi, I'm discovering the joys of owning a Wii in the year of 2026. Better late than never. Been playing the NTSC Virtual Console version of Star Fox 64 a bunch, and there's this annoying audio distortion that's hard to ignore throughout the game, like the audio is crackling. It's most noticable in the end credits. This video I found on youtube shows it off as well, so I know the issue isn't just on my end: (45:56 in case the timestamp doesn't work) I was surprised how nobody online seems to have discussed this over the years. Has anyone else noticed this or similar issues on other n64 VC releases? Is the cause known? Out of curiosity, I did try the PAL Lylat Wars release, and the audio was perfectly fine in that one.

Hacking I've got a question about GC!

Since you're supposedly able to play backup GC games on your Wii with for example Wiikey, I got a couple of questions.

First of all, can you just burn the GC ISO (typically around 1.2GB) straight down to the DVD disc and then insert it in the Wii and play? (I've got Wiikey version 3.1E)
Secondly, are you able to burn more than one ISO onto your DVD - so that when you boot it up, you can choose between the games you want to play? Oh, and does the save feature work normally? As in, save to the memory card?

1) Yes if you got a modchip then it would work like a normal GC game.

2) Search for Multi-Boot ISO Creator 2.0.3 on google or look in the download section of GBATemp.
