Hacking itouch DS micro SD reader dosen't work

I don't know what happened but whenever I put in the usb reader into my computer it says usb device not recognized. The worst that happened to it was I didn't use it for a few days. I know it's not the micro SD because it works on my itouch. Can someone help? please?

Happened to me too. Inferior reader, simple as that. They short out quick. Easily replaced for about $10 if you look a bit.

Thanks man. Off to micro center. EDIT: YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I found my SD adapter on my bed. Cleaning my room actually does help....
