Hi all i have modded about 7 3ds so far without issues. Got a friends here that I'm trying to do and after visiting 2xrsa.3ds.guide it boots to safea9lhinstaller but pressing select doesn't do anything at all?

Pressing another button causes it to reboot. Very strange. Any ideas?

Just realised the start button doesn't reboot the console though.. I wonder if the start and select buttons are broken?

Not sure where i would go from there.

Look for the otp.bin in the a9lh folder. Is it there? I had something like that happen, but it still installed a9lh. Read some people say they had to try it multiple times.

Yeah I've re checked the directories multiple times and even re downloaded some of the files. Should the start button reboot the installer? I'm thinking those buttons are dead.

They could be. You should have 8 files in a9lh folder and arm9 & arm11.bin on root.

Yeah all files are in place... Odd one! As I've said I've done about 7 so far and never had an issue at this step.

I've done more, but once in a while I forget stuff. Other people have too.

I just looked at the photo again. You're using the wrong version of installer. Some other guys did the same thing recently.

You should be using Plailect's 2.0.6 not Aurora's 2.6.7. They also have different files inside. So you're probably missing those.

I've downloaded from his git the 2.0.6 but it still boots to 2.6.7??

Ok deleted EVERYTHING and downloading from Plailects git again...

Jesus... 2.6.7 still. Is there a different data input zip I should be using that's the only file not downloaded from Plailects git.

Yeah finally got 2.0.3 to boot and still no install...

Yes that's the one and i've gotten it to boot but now i'm thinking the start and select buttons are totally dead on this unit. Now concerned about getting it back to stock though as i don't know how i can restore the nand backup at this stage in the process...

It's all good now i went cowboy and took it apart and cleaned the start and select contacts on the motherboard. Easy and the latest A9LHInstaller worked just fine... I knew it was those bloody buttons!
