Yeah, I have, for the Wii: Dolphin. You can can play some of the games with it. Naruto Shippuuden Gekitou Ninja Taisen almost worked full speed on my computer and I have an old video card, but you get a boost if you use newer. Also some other games are working pretty good already.

Not to mention VisualBoyAdvance when the GBA was still a popular handheld (2003) and NO$GBA for DS.

That said, I agree that emulators are not created for the purpose of piracy and probably won't be used that much as pirate tools. Pirates use modchips or softmods.

i've seen a few people defend emulators in this topic, don't kid yourselves and you're not fooling anyone - if you're using snes9x etc to emulate snes games chances are you're using it to emulate the good ones - i.e. ones you can get on nintendo's virtual console which is something you have to pay for. have we derailed the topic enough yet?

If you're not using the Wii NES emulator to pirate then you can use the one for the PSP, PC, DS, ... and tons of other platforms. While programs like WAD Manager create VC/WW piracy that had never existed before.

its a double standard. Just because I can play emulators on my DS/PSP/PC/XBOX means it's ok to pirate on the Wii... so if I write an app for the PS3, or 360 to run VC WADs, then he won't have a problem with WADManager?

Oh Marcan said that? Oh that changes everything.... Piracy is piracy. If I guy owns multiple houses and you go to once which is unoccupied. You can't say its okay because he isn't using it anymore. Its not yours so you can't use it. YOu not hurting the market but its still illegal. But in most cases since the virtual console you are hurting the market. Using the emulator on another system doesn't change that.
