i think wanikos spanish and marcan just mocks him, (marcan lives in germany) like today marcan made his own usb iso loader which took him 6 hours and then he claimed waniko's took 22 days XD l love marcan's rants though

The website is online. And as you can read in Waninkoko's new post in his blog, for sure marcan didn't do the same as he did... Also the DDoS attack is true and you can see a letter from the server hoster talking about the attack if you search a little in their forums.

Anyways, good work waninkoko... as many of you said, maybe marcan is a better programmer or knows more things than waninkoko, but what do we care if he can do these things but he don't do it?

Really, if you suddenly get 1000 visitors within 5 Minutes this can look the same as a DDoS attack. You could determine between a "GBAtemp attack" and DDoS attack, but you have to take a closer look at the server log files for this.

Just a note: Marcan decided to take an initiative and delete CIOS usb2 from wiibrew.org. Homebrew is definately going the wrong direction in his eyes, and doesnt see the use for loading videos through apps like mplayerce quickly. Oh well.

I find it funny that bushing and marcan are so against piracy, yet they allow emulators to run free on WiiBrew... I guess one form of piracy isn't as bad as another....

Anyways, on topic... both marcan and waninkoko are spanish. And i too believe (and it can be seen) that marcan knows way more than waninkoko, i don't know why people worship waninkoko like a god.

I don't agree with their views, but to be fair emulators and ROMs usually deal with software/hardware that is no longer being developed/published/sold/supported, often referred to as "abandonware". In many cases the copyrights have even expired and don't apply.

However, with the release if the Wii's Virtual Console "feature" and the upcoming ability to download old defunct gameboy/gameboy advanced games via the DSi, this becomes a pretty dark grey area, because the software is being re-released and sold again so how much of it is abandonware or not, and does a rom of mario brothers equal a virtual console copy of mario brothers?
