Hacking iSmart MM pre-order

If this product was released at or near the same time as the DSTwo, I would have gotten it at this price.

Not necessarily because it has more features than the DSTwo did at launch, but because the DSTwo was missing two of the most valuable advertised features at launch. Since I don't believe in paying for promises, and I'd already spent $40 on an iPlayer just for GBA emulation, I held out until quite recently to buy a DSTwo.. now that SNES and unconverted video playback are really part of the deal.

Because it is on the market now that the DSTwo indeed boasts all of its advertised features, iSmart can't expect it'll be a smash at the same price unless they throw in some sort of bonus goody in addition to providing the consistent support Supercard have.

Doesn't the iPlayer just play GBA games?

Pretty expensive the iSmart team should have lowered it down so people buy it instead of the DStwo.

DS2 is a better option, cause someday DS2 will have a firmware not compatible with iSMRT

I think it's always good to have options and this new iSmart MM gives you that but it seem like this new cart dosen't really offer anything new
kinda sounds like iplayer clone with nds support looks like a DSTWO clone
the dstwo has way better homebrew support..with all the dstwo exclusive emulators and games(and more to come), this cart would need to do something very special to grab people's interest, and with the 3DS right around the corner, most people who already have a dstwo will probably pass, and I'm pretty sure the new cyclo will be better


I already have like 13 flash cart so unless Another World or PharaohsVizier says this is a must have cart, I'll probably pass and see what the cyclo has to offer

Same with me right now. NDSGBA seems to be exactly the same as the iPlayer version.

Well... can't anybody create an autoboot NDSGBA for our crappy iPlayers, so that we can get rid of alle the other stuff..?

Anyway, now hopes rise toward CycloDSi. I'm getting more and more curious right now.

Too bad you have not kept your iSP. Something great is currently happening on this.
But i can't say much about that.

I had high expectation for it, because the EZ5i is one of my favorite cart, maybe that's why I'm so harsh on the ISMM
But it's only $15 it's not like I can't buy another one..I'll wait until that "something great" happens.
