definitely. that's about half the regular price. it feels perfect in my hands, the dpad is great, and it carries insane battery power.

oh, I didn't realize that wasn't the real thing. I guess I should've figured that by the price. third-party wii u controllers suck. I once owned one and the dpad was terrible.

Third-Party? The thing in the photo looks like an officially licensed controller! Even has the Wii U logo on top.

don't know. I thought from the above poster that it was a fake. third-party controllers pretty much look the same. the box is also the same. the differences that I found were the dpad (felt very wrong), and the box (it was smaller than a legit controller's). you'll know if it's a fake just by holding it. I guess if it's used it could be that price, but knowing gamestop, they'd slash the price from $40 to $35, not half the price, so I question that,

Lol, yea I'm a Xbox fanboy. I'm on Series X.

    @K3Nv2, lol, who does?
  • The_Dizzy_Vizzy @ The_Dizzy_Vizzy:
@BigOnYa, if I were to get a new/current-gen console it would definitely be the Series X. Do you, in your opinon and experience,, do you think that the Series S was a bad idea for MS, becuase between the Series X and S, the developers are building games to the lowest common denominator (the Series S), so you never really get to see what the X can do???
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
The S is still a good choice for half the cost can't really tell the difference unless you nitpick
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I have a ps5/series s and it's hard to tell the difference tbh
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I've never played on Series S so don't know, but its not 4k, 120hz, Ray Tracing like the Series X is.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
You can upscale series s to 4k
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
    30fps prob tho
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Doesn't really matter your eye won't tell the difference
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
It's half the cost so you'll have nifty features but to the average I just wanna play Xbox there won't be a huge difference
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
If you got a nice gaming pc you can just get PC gamepass on that. Gamepass Ultimate lets you play on both console and PC.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
You can even use smart tv/ firestick to cloud game off gamepass, but obviously not nearly as good, fps dips, low rez, long load times.

@Everybody, while I have a computer that can run plenty of games (inc ray-tracing, big FPS, etc), I am at heart a console gamer. I work in front of a computer 8 hours a day for 5days a week. Trust me, when I get home from work and want to play a game, it sure as hell won't be on my PC. I don't want to sit in front of a dual monitor setup (and yes I know I can hook my PC up to my TV but that would be missing the point), I like the simplicity and the informality of a gaming console. But I read all your responses and appreciate what you have to say about the Series S/X. Biggy menitoned that Series S runs games @ 30fps, not all games I'm sure, but I'd seriously be missing out on that 60 FPS. Once you go 60, 30 FPS is way down the ladder...

Ok, I'll fix that, so long as I think I know what you're talking about...
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
@The_Dizzy_Vizzy yea if you can afford it, and your tv is a 4k HDR 10, then obviously the Series X is better, I forgot it has ray tracing also and the Series S does not. But both are good to enjoy games in current gen.
